A Must Read on Writing
ByOne of the best books on writing I’ve ever read is William Zinsser’s “On Writing Well”– now in a 30th anniversary edition.
Zinsser is a true writer’s coach, helping you to write clear, concise sentences that communicate effectively. I’ve read his book a number of times and went back to specific chapters to sharpen my memory on his advice.
Some specific chapters worth noting include:
Zinsser writes what he preaches. Throughout the book, you’ll see examples of “writing well” that will do nothing but make you better.
For less than $11, this resource is excellent for pastors seeking to better communicate through writing.
