Amazon Book Links: The Quick And Easy Way

I heard a lot of feedback from my Blogging 101 series on using Amazon Associates program to earn a couple of pennies for your efforts.

Well, I just had to share this tip about an easy way to create Amazon affiliate links to books.

Check out this blog post from the new Amazon Associates blog titled Create Links While Browsing. (By the way, you need to get this in your feedreader!)

Using “bookmarklets,” you can simply surf to the book on Amazon, click the button and it’ll send you straight to the affiliate code. WOW!

I love it! Amazon is lowering the bar for what it takes to post books!

I also wanted to mention … if you’re having problems making it work … be sure the javascript cut-and-paste code they provide doesn’t have linebreaks.

I’ve been working on tweaking my Amazon sales and started reading around in the Associates help section. If you haven’t done so, browse around in the “Discussion Boards” and “Performance Tips” sections. It’s worth it!

And if you haven’t created an aStore, you should do so. Amazon makes it INCREDIBLY easy to sell books through your site. Each book link has a product review and information in an easy-to-read page and look that can be customized to be similar to your blog. They even let you badge your aStore!
