Blogging Tip: Use Your Stats to Help Come Up With Post Ideas

Kevin, typically you put it in your template “footer.” Don’t put into each individual post. Putting it in the footer takes care of that.
This is a great way to get some extra traffic and also cater to what your readers are interested in. Anytime you see a pattern of incoming traffic, it’s worth thinking about adding some more supporting content.

By incorporating your keywords in the link to your post, you’ll increase your visibilty for these keywords or keyword phrase.
For example, if you type in the phrase, “how to encourage return blog visits” into Google, the post titled, “Blogging Tip: Tell Readers How Often You Post to Encourage Regular Return Visits” shows up at the top of the search results.
In a WordPress blog, the title of the posts becomes a link and depending on how the blog is configured, the same phrase appears in the directory path. Two items that help you rank higher in search engine results.
