Entry Points

By James Dalman

I want to share an idea that I have been seeing more and more of on the web…the use of “entry points” for your church website.

A fellow planter in the Acts 29 Network, Bill Streger, has a church called Kaleo and their website has three main entry points for visitors. You can choose First Time, I’m a Regular, or Give Me Stuff and it is a excellent way to help people find the information they want. In the past, I have had conversations with people who were looking for a church, found a website, and then leave in frustration because they couldn’t find the info they wanted – so I know this idea will be beneficial.

I think that as people spend less and less time in finding a church or listening to your message, that the easier you make it for them to find what they are looking for when they want it, the more successful you will be whether you are a church, business, or non-profit.

Create some entry points.
