Free Contact Email Forms For Your Church Website
ByIf you’ve been following my Using WordPress to Run Church Websites series, then I need to add an additional plugin that allows you to easily put a contact form on your church website.
Here are two plugin options that automate the form and process:
- Chip’s Contact Form — I’m using this right now on this site and other site and love it.
- Mike’s Contact Form – My friend Brian Gardner is using this now and loves it.
I’m using Mike’s Contact form on my sites right now and I dig the anti-spam features but I’ve received some comments from a vocal critic (a friend HAHA) saying it doesn’t work.
I know it works, it’s just that he didn’t bother to read the word “required” and gave up after one try … it’s not a scientific survey but I’m wondering if adding a step (the human user confirmation step, specifically) will discourage anyone from contacting the church.
I know I don’t like the frustration of dealing with spam but I rather frustrate myself than someone asking for help. Hmmm. I’ll have to think about it.
In my opinion, Mike’s contact form is the best contact form I’ve seen so far.
