Oklahoma Life: One Rockin Evangelistic Media Outreach

Oklahoma Life is a “special program designed to reach out to unreached Oklahomans with an invitation to church, and to raise awareness of the values and contributions to life of Southern Baptists in Oklahoma,” according to my friend

Oklahoma Life is a special evangelistic campaign of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma coming around Easter in Oklahoma to “reach out to unreached Oklahomans with an invitation to church” and is designed to also help “raise awareness of values and contributions to life of Southern Baptists,” according to my friend Chris Forbes, the campaign lead.

Chris is an evangelism/marketing specialist with the BGCO and blogs at Ministry Marketing Coach.

The campaign is really incredible. It’s based on solid research data, including focus groups studies (which absolutely rock!) and they tested the media to ensure it communicated the message they are trying to send.

I’ve also had the opportunity to be a part of it (our church is participating in the outreach) and actually be in some of the promotion media of the campaign [TV commercial and photos].
