What Easter Sermon or Service Ideas Do You Have?

Just wondering what you all have planned for Easter … tell us in the comments below. Your answers might turn into a full post on it.

We have decided to start a series on families for Easter. Our concept is around the TV show “HOUSE”. We thought we would take a look at our families and what the deeper causes of the many symptoms of strife that occur and how to remedy those particular areas of weakness.
Our church is starting a new series this weekend that will culminate on Easter entitled Legitimate Questions. We’re doing several things to get the word out concerning Easter.
1. A TV commercial
2. Direct Mailer
3. Invest and Invite with attenders
4. A Doubt Night (Open Forum) the week before Easter where people can ask any question they have concerning Christianity.
That’s all I can remember right now.
We are sending out a mailer. A first for our church.
I am curious what type of giveaways people are planning to use.
I am the children’s director at a new church plant and am looking to do something new/different than a regular easter service… I have done the easter story/paint the eggs/easter egg hunt stuff… any other suggestions are welcome!

This Sunday our High Schoolers are starting a 6 week series on the “Passion of the Christ”.
Mar 18 & 25 are lessons about the Passion of Christ before watching the movie,
April 1st watch the movie (under 17 with parent/guardian permission)
April 8th Easter, No Youth Meeting Easter Night
Apr 15, 22, 29 are lessons about the Passion of Christ after watching the movie.
