Baker’s ‘Starting for the Finish’ Editorial a Must Read for Southern Baptists

Doug Baker, the new executive editor of the Baptist Messenger in Oklahoma, has an excellent editorial titled Starting for the Finish about the state of the Southern Baptist Convention.

I’ve had the honor of getting to know Doug a little bit as a mutual friend of ours – Micah Fries – introduced us a couple of months ago. In his editorial, Doug deadpans the situation we’re in at Southern Baptists and puts it a lot more eloquently than I could.

I’m hoping it gets forwarded around the SBC and its leadership circles.
