How is Your Church Doing?
Posted by: | CommentsIt seems these days all we hear about are bailouts, fat corporate cats living high on the hog while taking a handout, the financial crisis in America, or that the Dow Jones is sucking wind. While these are all true and they are all depressing, I wonder how our churches across the United States are doing right now.
So how are you doing? Not in numbers or finances – but how are you holding up personally? Has ministering to people changed during this time? Are you still as strong in your faith as before the economic crunch? Do you feel God will use this challenging situation for His glory and purpose?
Please know that I pray right now for you and your church. May God show you His presence and guide you and your team during this difficult situation. I ask that He blesses you in your mission for building the Kingdom! Amen.
Sermon Branding and Worship Graphics from CCP
Posted by: | CommentsChurch Communications Pro would like to announce that we now have a few sets of sermon branding graphics for sale in our new products section: http://churchcommunicationspro.com/products.
These sermon graphics were created by James Dalman and are easily customizable with the layered Photoshop files or you can use them as is. All of the current designs were developed for his church clients who have graciously offered to make these available for other churches to use and are a great way to look awesome AND save money in a difficult economy.
Right now there are only three different sermon branded design packages available but there are twelve more branded series on their way. So please check them out and keep an eye out for our CCP Design Club that will be launching soon!
Will You Twitter Your Church or Ministry?
Posted by: | CommentsTwitter is an awesome tool!
It allows us to communicate in a way that is totally different from traditional websites, blogs, and e-mails. You can tie in Twitter with your FaceBook account, send voice mesages to Twitter using your phone, TwitPic your photos, and even synch it with your Google iCalendar. The applications are many and you should consider using it for your church or ministry.
Anthony Coppedge (whom I’d love to meet and have missed at a few conferences) launched a website called Twitter for Churches (www.twitterforchurches.com) and offers a PDF book called “The Reason Your Church MUST Twitter” for only $5.00! Having read Anthony’s posts in the past, I think this is going to be a great read and recommend checking out his new website.
Twitter could help your ministry to communicate more efficiently or carry on conversations with people in your community. Don’t miss the boat.
