A Great Tool for Your Church and the iPhone.

I got an e-mail from the crew at AppChurch.com the other day about their new app for the iPhone.
While WordPress has an iPhone plug-in for websites that use WP as a CMS platform, I think AppChurch would be an awesome tool if your church uses another CMS system. Both Mars Hills and LifeChurch.tv have created and used this type of technology (I love both) with great success and I really feel it would be beneficial for you to check out for your church as well. The AppChurch is a free download from the iTunes store though you do have to pay a monthly fee if you want your church logo, service times, map, events, and sermons to be included for your visitors to see … but at $7 per month for one website, I think this is a small investment if people visit your church because of it.

A Cool Website

I always jump around the web looking for ideas and cool websites that stretch the limits of imagination. I found a site (a web design company) the other day that breaks the mold called Dizzain. It is interesting to see how they took creativity and functionality to the limits. I also like that they get straight to the main point; their offer and their promise on the homepage. Dizzain shows that you can think out of the box and still have a website that works exceptionally well on the web.
So go ahead and be creative with your website – have great content but make it attractive too! Great job to the team at Dizzain!
