I’ve heard a couple stories emerge from the Virginia Tech rampage and tragedy about believers who were killed … and watched a CBS special on it all last night. As with, I think, everyone in our great nation, my sincerest love and prayers go out to the whole community there.

I thought this quote by Mark Batterson on the shock of the mass murders was especially appropriate:

“It certainly doesn’t shake my belief in God. It just affirms my belief in evil.”

In a post titled Know Your Tendency, the ever quotable Mark Batterson gives this quote that I just had to share:

“Grace without truth is Christianity without a backbone.
Truth without grace is Christianity without a heart.”

It’s poster-worthy, I think.
