What’s Brewing in Southern Baptist Life
Posted by: | CommentsAs you might know, I’m a Southern Baptist … the big news out of SBC life is the Great Commission Resurgence Task Force. They recently presented their preliminary report in Nashville a couple of weeks ago and we were there with the Baptist Messenger of Oklahoma to cover the event.
My good friend and Messenger Executive Editor Douglas Baker just released a podcast with Dr. David Dockery, president of Union University.
The podcast is rich and worth the time. Check it out here.
Sermon Branding and Worship Graphics from CCP
Posted by: | CommentsChurch Communications Pro would like to announce that we now have a few sets of sermon branding graphics for sale in our new products section: http://churchcommunicationspro.com/products.
These sermon graphics were created by James Dalman and are easily customizable with the layered Photoshop files or you can use them as is. All of the current designs were developed for his church clients who have graciously offered to make these available for other churches to use and are a great way to look awesome AND save money in a difficult economy.
Right now there are only three different sermon branded design packages available but there are twelve more branded series on their way. So please check them out and keep an eye out for our CCP Design Club that will be launching soon!
Professional Websites for $450.00
Posted by: | CommentsI ran across an ad this morning for “Professionally Designed Websites for $450.00!” You can get custom designed logos for $299.00. Is this really a great deal? How many of us have seen that special that’s too good to be true? I’ve said it thousands of times – you get what you pay for!
Here’s a quote I got from a friend a while back:
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price has been forgotten.
Nuff said.
